This building was erected as a memorial to the men of Rotherham who fell in the great war 19143 -1918. 1931 this tablet is to commemorate the generous gift of £5700 from the Miners Welfare Fund towards the building & furnishing of this Outpatients Department which forms part of Rotherham's war memorial.i
