About the memorial:
The Memorial is a two-light window in the south-east aisle of the church. In hte left habd light is a medieval knight in prayer above a smaller panel of a soldier on awhite horse with four walking soldiers and the words "They loved their lives unto the death". In the right hand light light a seated King David playing a harp above a procession of choir boys and priests with the words "I will sing a new song unto THEE O GOD".
The window was made by Catherine O'Brien of the Tower of Glass in Dublin (The Arts and Crafts Movement in Yorksire - Barrie & Wendy Armstrong).
There is a further bronze plaque underneath the window.
