About the memorial: Grey brick base rising up in pyramid type shape out of grass. Slate top on top of the brick which has writing on inside circular area. Underneath slate plaque is a metal plaque with description of the artic convoy campaign. This is all within a fenced off area with metal fence and a mix of brick and grass inside. A plaque at the side outside the fence commerates the plaque unveiling.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

A gift to the people of Enfield from surviving Artic veterans. Artic campaign memorial trust. Remembering thousands of brave young men women who gave their lives in the arctic campaign 1941-45 on convoys to and from Russia. Accepted on behalf of the people by the mayor of Enfield. 70th Anniversay marking the end of the arctic convoy 1941-1945. Former mayor the late, Cllr Stanley Carter, a member of the artic convoy, arranged this memorial for the people of Enfield. It was unveiled by former mayor CLlr Anne-Marie Pearce in 2003. Unveiled 14 November 2015 by mayor CLlr Patricia Ekechi.
