About the memorial: Memorial is in area no. 336 in Green Zone, off Millennium Avenue (riverside). A grey granite cube on a polished base of the same material. The top of the cube has a sloping face on which a square black stone tablet is affixed, with an engraving of the insignia above a commemoration. The front face of the cube is engraved with the Apprentices' brass wheel symbol, flanked at four corners by the names of the four RAF training stations.
