About the memorial: "A garden, maintained by the local council, is still in Morven Park, as is the base of a memorial, but the memorial itself is now in a more prominent position in the High Street (War Memorials Archive ref 917). Morven Park was given to the Trust by Mr A B Sanderson (of the wallpaper company) who lost his son, 2nd Lt Arthur Keith Sanderson, on 25 September 1915 at the Battle of Loos " National Trust
