About the memorial: 100 yards along a hedgerow between two fields, a stone slab inscribed with the names of the crew of 90 Squadron R.A.F. Short Stirling ser no BK-784, c/s WP-M from RAF Tuddeham which crashed in this field on 23rd May 1943,killing all seven of the crew Part of the control column is attached to the stone
