To the glory of God and in memory of Maud Starkie Bince who died on the 1st July 1916. This tablet is erected by the officers, non-commissioned officers, and men of the 1st Battalion South Wales Borderers, (24th Regiment), who served in the Great European war, as a token of gratitude.
