To the Glory of God this Altar is given by Maria & Miriam Hunstone in loving memory of their nephews, William Hunstone Brierley Capt. & Adj. 2/6th Batt. Sherwood Foresters, who was killed in action at Passchendaele Ridge, 26th Sept. 1917, aged 20 years also of John James Hubert Brierley (OS) RNVR, who died in the King’s Service, 10th Oct. 1918 aged 18 years.
