About the memorial: A Red Sandstone cross mounted on three square plinths. The front face of the cross has embossed decoration of a sword and wreath. The inscription is on the front face of the cross, the WW1 names are on three faces of the top plinth and the WW2 names are on the front face of the middle plinth. The inscriptions may have been recently renovated as the names are clear and sharply-incised on sandstone
