About the memorial: The drop down menu for types of buildings does not seem to heave a category for a pub. There was once a Primitive Methodist Chapel on the site which was named for Wilfred Wood VC. It was demolished and the pub is on the site and retained the name. Boards with information about the man can be found inside this J D Wetherspoon pub.
