About the memorial: Square foundation supporting a three-stepped square base surmounted by a skirted, square sectioned plinth with a chamfer-edged top face, square-footed octagonal sectioned tapering shaft, neck and flared-arm wheel cross. Incised inscription and names on side faces of plinth are infilled with black enamel paint. The whole memorial stands within a small grassed area partially enclosed on two sides by a low stone wall and a higher wall to the rear. Access is via two steps from roadside pavement.
