About the memorial: Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen war memorial is located in the churchyard of St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen, Norfolk. It is prominently situated just inside the churchyard entrance, to the left of the path leading to the church. It comprises a smooth granite plain cross, with a sword of sacrifice carved in relief to the front face, on a tapering plinth with rounded cap, and marble block base atop a concrete foundation. Whole within a kerbed square, filled with gravel. Listed Grade II, list entry 1457763.
