About the memorial: Paper scroll with names of the dead of the parish from both World Wars in a wooden frame protected by glass, stands in corner on left side of this former church, now a community shop and cafe. There are also 1) an embroidered picture of a stained glass window 2) a disply of kintted poppies 3) a board with a photo of Charles James price WW1 casualty-see separate entry. NB an identical paper scroll is to be found in Croft church, nothing to say which parish the men named actually came from.
