About the memorial: Pin position speculative. Not to be confused with the Free Church of Scotland, still going strong. The following is all that the Scottish War Memorials Project discussion thread could find on the subject - From “The Scotsman” 1st March 1921 - DUNOON A tablet in memory of the fourteen men who fell in the war belonging to the congregation of Dunoon Argyll U.F. Church was unveiled on Sunday by Mrs Bennet, Struan Lodge, Dunoon. Major Bennett delivered the dedicatory address. A suggestion in 2013 that the Library or Museum might have an answer seems to have produced no outcome.
