About the memorial: Scottish War Memorials Project entry from 2008 said that - "This large brass memorial plaque is located at the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, but is not currently on display." Subsequent research by members showed clear links between at least some of the names and the Maryhill area of Glasgow, where there was a garrison church. See details and more photos on SWMP link.
