About the memorial: NB. church in care of Churches Conservation Trust. obtain key from reception at hotel and take care on the bumpy track. 2 keyholes for same key on church door flat marble plaque with rounded head containing a crown, Staffordshire knot and banner of Staffordshire regiment. It is placed below one for G Legge from WW1 which explains the "and" at the start of the inscription
