About the memorial: Lost in a fire in 2012 "accidentally" started by a group of local teenagers. The school was destroyed and replaced. 24 names - see IWM Register 76552. Stirling Observer 1919 - "The memorial is a very striking one and consists of a brass plaque ornamented with scroll work, set into a marble base, the Latin inscription being in bronze. It is erected in the South wall of the principal classroom and is from designs by Mr Archibald Hamilton, Glasgow ."
