About the memorial: Previous location Outside main entrance Allhallows Church Kendal Wooden cross (a 'Westmorland' cross) with 36 brass name plates and a dedication plaque. The plaques were removed from the cross at a very early date and mounted on a board inside the church. The cross and the original dedication plaque do not now survive. The current dedication plaque was made for the re-installation in 2014.
