About the memorial: According to the IWM Register this memorial is between a pizza and a kebab shop in The Rushes and was dedicated in 2014. However, it does not appear in the 2017 Google street view images, though there is a blank rectangle where it might have been affixed. A site visit might help. Machine etched brass coloured rectangular plaque with black inscription and single line border. Replacement for original WMR 57893 now on display in the Loughborough Carillon Museum WMR 14738. Replicates the original inscription.
