About the memorial: This is a gray granite cross carved which is in good condition. At the bottom of the cross, which forms the base, is incised writing with the names and details of the reason for the cross being placed in the location of Commonwealth War Graves Commission headstones. The cross is placed on what appears to be a concrete base. The incised lettering is worn by the elements and when new was to a depth of around 6 to 8mm but now around 05 to 1mm and has become difficult to read.
