About the memorial: A wooden triptych with a copper cross on the central panel and the names inscribed in black on the inside of the two doors. A pediment above is inscribed in gold "For / God King and Country. The central panel is inscribed in gold "Greater love no man that this" above the two arms of the cross. n inscription below the cross reads "The Heroic Dead". Below is a panel with a small shelf.
