About the memorial: Pedestal surmounted by bronze cross at edge of Church of Lower Quoig graveyard (formerly at old Strowan Parish Church. Pedestal of Cullaloe sandstone ashlar with inscription tablets of Kemnay granite. On the front of the stepped top, a relief of the Pelican in Piety, bronze ringed cross filial.
