About the memorial: The village has been abandoned. Grey granite obelisk , on three rustic sandstone steps, surrounded by a wrought iron fence. There is no road access. Park at the former public house in Burnfoot and wear wellingtons! Take map and compass. On the side of Benquhat Hill via a 2 mile walk from Burnfoot. The location is east of the village of Waterside and north of Dalmellington

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
