About the memorial: 20 BED MEN SURGICAL WARD WITHIN THE HOSPITAL WITH DEDICATORY SCROLL-SHAPED MARBLE TABLET IN MOSAIC STYLE. INSCRIPTION IN GOLD LETTERING. SECOND DEDICATORY TABLET PLACED IN THE VESTIBULE OUTSIDE THE WARD. LARGE COLOURED ARMS OF THE CITY OF SALFORD IN THE CENTRE DIVIDING THE LEGEND FROM THE INSCRIPTION The Ward is gone as the original location Salford Royal Hospital, Chapel Steet closed 1993. Plaque and Tablet removed and relocated to Hope Hospital, Stott Lane,Salford which was renamed Salford Royal Hospital. Put in Store. Current location unknown.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
