About the memorial: memorial tablet to the memory of William Wright, aged 19, in freestone to be fixed to the south wall of the nave near the tower end, for which Mr. P.H. Champion will be responsible, being his late employer on the Hall Farm, size to be about two feet by about fourteen inches by about one inch thick. Faculty Book 14, faculty dated 25th July 1923 Just inside the front door of the church, and on the south wall is this plaque, measuring 570mm wide and 340mm high, and made of stone.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
