TABLET: WE REMEMBER THE/ 15TH MOTOR GUN BOAT FLOTILLA/ OF THE ROYAL NAVY/ KINGSWEAR 1942 TO 1944 PLAQUE: THIS FLOTILLA CARRIED OUT/ CLANDESTINE OPERATIONS FROM THE/ DART TO NORTHERN BRITTANY FROM/ 1942 TO 1944, WORKING CLOSELY/ WITH THE FRENCH RESISTANCE./ IT LANDED OR BROUGHT BACK MANY BRAVE BRITISH AND/ ALLIED AGENTS AND ALSO BROUGHT/ BACK MANY ALLIED AIRMEN SHOT/ DOWN OVER EUROPE./ MGB 502 WAS SUNK OFF NORWAY/ ON 12 MAY 1945: THERE WERE/ ONLY TWO SURVIVORS.
