” To the glory of God/and in memory of Sir James / Horlick Baronet of Cowley/man of Glos and patron of/the living of Elkstone. Died May 7th 1921, his wife Margaret Adelaide Horlick/ Died November 20th 1925/and of their youngest son/Gerald Nolekin Horlick/Major RGHY who gave his/ life for his country and died/at Alexandria July 3rd 1918 A new treble bell was added/to the peal of bells in this/church and the old bells/repaired and rehung. March 1917
