Sapper Alfred Frederick Amos, 109 Railway Company Royal Engineers, Died 12 May 1918, aged 32. Buried in Nine Elms British Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium. Prior to his service in the Royal Engineers, Alfred Amos was a Midland Railway employee, based at Butterly Station, where he worked as a labourer in the Way and Works Department.
