About the memorial: Rough hewn white horizontal rectangular stone with centre raised in shape of two flat page open book. Depiction of upper torso only of praying cherub with outstretched wings immediately above book centre. Dedication on both pages in black lead lettering, heavy staining to bottom of both pages.
