About the memorial: Vertical rectangular grey stone with chamfered Gothic top dropping to chamfered straight sides, stands on large horizontal chamfered foundation. Recessed circular panel at stone top shows Latin cross while triangular panel to each side of cross has ivy leaf decoration. Dedication beneath in black lead lettering.
