About the memorial: This a stone bench with slate engraved plaques including a Roll of Honour to The Old Boys Of Brown Edge who fell in the Great War. Also WW2 and Malaya. The bench stands outside the village hall and within the perimeter wall. Note there is also a Roll of Honour of the Great War situated inside St Annes Church.
