About the memorial: The war memorial unveiled Sunday 22nd August 1920 by Alderman R. Pattinson J.P. of Ruskington and dedicated by the Rev. W. Lewty of Rowston. The cross is located close to the entrance of the churchyard, and is of red Aberdeen granite and resting on concrete steps.
