About the memorial: Celtic style cross on a short shaft, a tapered plinth and a wide base. Wrongly described by the IWM Register as Banchory Lodge Hotel Staff WW1. It was not then a hotel but the cross was refurbished in 1991 by the owners of the present hotel. See inscription under Names tab for details. Pin position approximate within the grounds of the hotel but there are directions - Take the pathway beside the wooded area to the car park and the memorial is at the far end of the pathway.
