About the memorial: Glazed and framed printed paper Roll of Honour with laurel wreath at top and similar style laurel border all around with space for handwritten names of the fallen and those who served, and with handwritten note at the bottom concerning its later placing in St Thomas a Beckett Church after the closure of Sutton Methodist Chapel. Some slight confusion is caused by the fact the the IWM Register entitles this memorial "Stourton Wesleyan Methodist Chapel" but the description and inscription read Sutton Methodist Chapel. There is indeed a close-by village of Stourton. If anyone local reads this, please clarify. 13 served and returned. 6 Fallen.
