About the memorial: Memorial commemorating Scottish WW1 Poets. The Memorial is a hand crafted Celtic Cross in light grey granite with deep carved Celtic knot work on a shallow base, the large tapered plinth gives solid stability . There is a stone sword in relief down the full height of the shaft of the cross. Unveiled November 2018. More photos on IWM Register 80151.
