About the memorial: Bronze plaque with inscription in relief. Badge of KOSB at the top and roundels at the top left and right hand corners with the Lion Rampant of the 15th (Scottish) Division.Left and right borders are decorated with the Edinburgh Castle device from the regimental badge at the bottom. The plaque was designed by the famed sculptor Gilbert Bayes, well-known for his war memorials such as Broadstone.
