About the memorial: Vertical rectangular stone with Gothic top dropping to Scotia shoulders, sides narrow below shoulders before re-widening toward base. Stands on chamfered horizontal rectangular foundation stone. Triangular recessed panel to top centre shows ivy leaf decoration, dedication in inscribed, self coloured, lettering below.
