About the memorial: Horizontal rectangular stone with square top and checks falling to straight sides which widen slightly toward base. Thin decorative vertical recesses form panels to each side and frame raised centrefield which is undecorated except for black lead lettered inscription

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

Walter Turner. Private 1204. 5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 27th April 1915, aged 21 years. Son of Charles Henry and Mary Ann Turner of Halton Villa, New Holland, Lincs. Born New Holland, enlisted Barton upon Humber and resident New Holland, Lincs. Buried Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery. I.A.90.
