About the memorial: Vertical rectangular dark wooden frame holds glazing and single sheet of white parchment. Thin black line around all edges of parchment frames centre field which has wide multi coloured flower and shield decoration to left side only. Name of church and depiction of Christ crucified above thinner leaf decoration to top. Thin black decorative line to right side and bottom. Dedication within decorative framework at top centre. Names from both wars in single column separated only by WW2 dates below dedication and prayer at bottom centre. Lettering of names etc in black with exception of initial letter of both forename and surname which is in red, as are WW2 dates, medal and prayer. 570 x 430 x 20mm hung from column toward western end and northern side of Nave.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.
