About the memorial: Unadorned Latin cross on three tiered stepped base, black lettering It would appear that this memorial has been rebuilt and the top two layers have been laid 180 degrees out of position, since the inscrcriptions only make sense if the top two blocks were turned 180 degrees. Charles William was the father of Francis William, and the incsriptions should read as follows
