About the memorial: The memorial is beside the church noticeboard in the vestibule, and is very welcome as the names on the cross outside are almost illegible. As the roll of honour is obviously fairly new, it may be that it was produced for precisely this reason. The names also appear in a booklet listing the names on memorials in villages in the north part of the Wimborne Minster benefice. A copy of this book is held in the church in the nearby hamlet of Chalbury, which otherwise has no memorial of its own.
