About the memorial: The war memorial is located in the churchyard of the Anglican and Methodist Church of St Matthew, Rastrick. It was erected in 1920. The memorial cross was designed and executed by Frank Crowther, monumental sculptor, 53 Gooder Lane, Rastrick. It stands nine feet high, is of Horton Wood stone, and stands on a landing given by Messrs. Bentley and Smith. At the base are the words ‘Rest in Peace’. Inside the cross is a laurel wreath.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
