About the memorial: Wall mounted, portrait orientated moulded-framed and glazed Roll of Service document. Roll decor comprises an outer blue-line border and the main green laurel leaf patterned, nowy-headed border which is superimposed with two sets of two shields at the top corners, each shield respectively, displaying an emblematic design for England -3 lions passant; Scotland - lion rampant; Ireland - harp and Wales - dragon. The laurel border is interrupted on each side and lower corners by further emblems of national flowers for each Country - rose, thistle, shamrock and daffodil. An inner nowy-headed red line follows the laurel border and emblem projections. Above the title and inscription are the semi-draping White Ensign flag and the Union flag, crossed at their staves behind a shield. Title and other specific initial letters are in red ink and some in blue with the remaining inscription and names in black ink.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
