Description: Board/Plaque/ Tablet
About the memorial: Two light stained glass window with figures depicted in it. Ornate dedicatory stone tablet placed below it. Tablet takes the form of a white inscription tablet set within a moulded marble and mosiac frame. Whole is mounted onto a black stone backboard. In the left light the figures of Joshua, Gideon and Jephthah are depicted fromt he top to the bottom. In the right light the figures of Abner, Jonathan and Caleb are depicted top to bottom. Foliate mosaic pattern on a gold background is depicted within the frame of the tablet. Gold mosaic cross on a red and white background is depicted at each corner of the frame.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
