About the memorial:
To provide and place a memorial tablet on the North wall of the Nave of the Parish Church of Greetwell in memory of those parishioners who lost their lives in the Great war, the said memorial tablet is to consist of a Marble Scroll on Red St.Ann's Stone about three feet one inch by about two feet in size

The dedication of a marble scroll took place in All Saints Church on Easter Sunday. The unveiling was performed by Mr. B. Marshall of Greetwell. Special prayers and sermon were preached by the Rev B.A. Marsden (vicar). The inscription of the scroll reads as follows:
"To the Glory of God, and in grateful memory of those who made the great sacrifice, 1914 – 1919. Charles Marshall, John William Albert Cross, Albert Horton, Joseph Isaac Horton. Faithful unto death"
The work has been carried out by Mr. H. Jackson, sculptor, Lincoln.
