About the memorial: Rowan and plaque ND531 Took off at 2330 from East Kirkby on operations against Wesserling. Lost without trace. All are perpetuated on the Runnymede Morial. F/S Lawrence had flown his first tour with 61 Squadron, as had F/O Davis, their awards being published on 14 October and 12 November 1943 respectively. Bomber Command Losses – Vol 5, page 296 d.o.d. 22nd in CWGC W4136 Took off 2310 Syerston for operations against Kartsruhe. Lost without trace. All commemorated Runnymede Memorial. Bomber Command Losses, Volume 3, page 202 d.o.d. given as the 3rd in CWGC.
