About the memorial: Garden and plaque Took off at 2218, East Kirkby, to attack a flying bomb storage site located at St-Leu-d´ Esserent. Crashed between Envermeu (Seine-Maritime) and St-Nicholas d´Aliermont, both villages being roughly 11 km South East of Dieppe. P/O Findley lies in the communal cemetery of the fromer, his crew rest in the French military plot at the latter. Bomber Command Losses, Volume 5, page 323.
