About the memorial: To provide and erect a memorial tablet on the north wall of the nave of Waddington Parish Church in memory of the parishioners who lost their lives in the Great War. That the said memorial tablet is be of Mosaic and Alabaster frame and about three feet six inches by about 2 feet 6 inches and is to have the following inscription namely: Faculty Book 14, page 36 War memorial tablet unveiled Saturday 12th March 1921 by General Sir Hugh Perry. Dedicated by Reverend J.A. Garton, Rector of Waddington. Designed and executed by Messes Jones and Willins of London in Alabaster and Venation mosaic. Source Lincolnshire Chronicle 19th March 1921
