About the memorial: Paper roll of honour with copperplate manuscript inscription in a glazed mahogany frame 660 x 360mm, erected above the font. At the top, above the title, a laurel victor’s crown within which the words “dieu et mon droit”. The whole supported by the draped flags of the UK, France, Russia and Belgium The list of names is written in ink. It is apparent that, over the years, damp has entered the frame and the ink has begun to run and fade. Many names are almost illegible. Rector advised to remove the memorial to a dry, unheated environment until repairs to the frame can be carried out.
