About the memorial: Cherry tree with brass plaque mounted on a support stake and board, situated below the tree. The above aircraft took off at 2132 from Dunholme Lodge on the evening of 26th April to attack Schweinfurt, the attack cost 9.2% of the attacking force. All who perished in the raid are interred in Landeville Churchurchyard, Haute-Marne, France.
